    A few months ago I was in need of a contractor to remove vermiculite from my attic. As I have never gone through this process personally I was under the impression it was pretty straight forward and a crew would just show up and suck it all out and that would be the end of it. I called Pro Pacific Hazmat to get the ball rolling.

    My first contact was with Roger Lessard, Residential Account Director. He informed me that the appraisal was free and he was even willing to come out on his weekend to have a look. When he came, before even having a look in the attic, he explained the whole process to me.

    Right from the first piece of paper work right to the end of the project. He was very clear in his explanation and was able to clarify the questions I had. His appraisal regarding cost, timeline and work load was spot on and very accurate. He even had a recommendation for an insulator that was professional and fast as well.

    On the day the project started Roger came to site to introduce the crew and make sure the project started smoothly and to confirm that the barrier they set up didn't drastically affect us using our house. Specifically the kitchen area. Their crew was quick to set up, and worked efficiently to make sure they maximized their production on a day to day basis, even with the summer heat cooking the roof. On days where they felt they might not meet their daily work goals they brought in extra workers and achieved what they stated they would do. The project was completed on time and the crew cleaned up after themselves as well.

    Throughout the whole project the communication was very clear and every evening I was sent an update informing me of the progress for that day.

    I am very happy with how well this project went and how there were no hiccups along the way. I will recommend Pro Pacific Hazmat to anybody looking to have remediation work done in the future for sure.
